10 Minutes With Anyone

Q: If you had ten minutes alone with anyone in the world, past or present, who would you choose?

I would talk to Paul. As the greatest missionary that ever lived, he is my spiritual Hero. I would also talk to Enoch because I want to know about his experience of 'walking with God'.

I am so thankful that as a child my parents raised me to look to Christian leaders and missionaries; real people who did real things; as my heros instead of sports stars or celebrities. That is one of the greatest gifts they gave me.
Corrie Ten Boom, David Livingston, and Florence NIghtengale are also heros of mine. Oh, and Sojurner Truth and Clara Barton :) Those are just the ones I can remember off the top of my head. Does that tell you anything about me?

Who is your spiritual hero, living or dead?
What character from the Bible do you look up to or identify with?
Who is your hero of the moment?

My hero of the moment is my neighbor's Daddy who is mowing our grass!!! Yeah Yeah!

  1. Lots of questions, Tricia! However, at the moment, the person I can most identify with is Esther...or at least she's one of the women in the Bible that I admire. She was so courageous, and I love thinking of how she must have squared her shoulders and held her head high as she said, "If I perish, I perish."

  2. I am stuck on Ruth - courageously defying culture and social obligations - to follow the one true God. I think I more WANT and PRAY to be like Ruth, than am like her now :) Thanks for following my blog - I am following yours now too! It's such a blessing to read about your life - in pursuit of becoming like Christ - wherever God takes you!
